Tablet Migration Hardware Setup
Step 1
Gather your required hardware to preform your Windows 8 Migration procedure.
- Venue
- Latitude
- Venue Power Supply Adapter
- Latitude Power Supply Adapter
- Categories 5 (CAT5) Cable
- Venue Ethernet Transfer Dongle
- Latitude Ethernet Transfer Dongle
Step 2
Plug the Venue power supply adapter into the Venue tablet.
Step 3
Plug the Latitude power supply adapter into the Latitude tablet.
Step 4
Ensure that the power supply indicator lights are activated on the Venue and Latitude tablets.
Step 5
Press the power button on the Venue and Latitude to power on both tablets.
Step 6
Plug the Transfer Dongle into the Venue tablet.
Step 7
Plug the Transfer Dongle into the Latitude tablet.
Step 8
Plug one end of the CAT5 cable into the Venue transfer dongle. Plug the opposite end of the CAT5 cable in the Latitude transfer dongle.
Congratulations! You setup the hardware for the migration process!
